June 11th
Volunteers from AXA came to the park and despite the rain managed to construct two "stumperies" for us before retreating from the park absolutely drenched. A big thank you.
June 5th
Lake Meadows Terrapins have been seen for years but this one decided to sun bathe conveniently on the tree stump for all to see.
May 3rd
The Early Morning Bird Walk was very successful with the group being lucky enough to identify 33 species either visually or by their song. A big thank you to Neil Sumner for leading it again.

The 100metre long Rhododendron Bed is a blaze of colour at the moment

Cowslip display in the Conservation Area has been amazing, catch the last couple of weeks.

Pleased to see the Egyptian geese thriving all eight goslings with parents
March 27th
A pair of Egyptian geese with 6 or 7 goslings were seen entering the Lake. Although adults have been seen before at Lake Meadows this is the first occasion that nested in the park.
