How to get here
By car
Lake Meadows is signposted locally from Billericay. The main car park is off Radford Crescent, next to the swimming pool. Parking is managed by the local council and is subject to charges or time limits – Latest Charges
By train
Billericay railway station is on the London Liverpool Street – Southend Victoria line. From the station it is around a 5 minute walk to the park. Leave the station turn left and walk down Radford Way, cross the road and , walk down Radford Crescent and follow the sign to Lake Meadows.
By bus
Several local bus routes serve Billericay and stop in the Station forecourt.

Planning your visit
The Council want as many people as possible to enjoy Lake Meadows. Paths around much of the park are generally level and suitable for buggies and wheelchairs in normal weather, although some areas can be uneven or muddy after heavy rain.
Step-free access
There is step-free access from the main car park and main entrances. Slopes are generally gentle, but assistance may be helpful in some areas. The cafe can be accessed by a slope
Parking bays and drop-off
Accessible parking bays are provided in the main car park, managed by the local council. Please check current signage and blue badge information when you arrive.
Toilets
Public toilets are provided in the park, including a disabled toilet. There is also a new "Changing Places" facility near the cafe. N.B. a RADAR key is required.
Step-free access
There is step-free access from the main car park and main entrances. Slopes are generally gentle, but assistance may be helpful in some areas. The cafe can be accessed by a slope

The toilets are managed by the Council and are locked up at the end of each day.
Finding information in the park
When you arrive at Lake Meadows you will find information boards with maps, signposts, notices and details about current projects and events supported by the Friends.
The Friends’ volunteers are often in the park, particularly during the regular Tuesday gardening sessions for much of the year. If you see volunteers in their purple tops, they will usually be happy to answer friendly questions about the park and the work we do.
